What do you guys think of McCain
Insane in the McCain

I don't like the fact that he asked Kerry to take his own words criticizing Bush out of a commercial. Like it is only OK to criticize Bush when it is McCain.

2. A true Flipflopper , a Janus - two faced
After what the Bush Administration did to him in the 2000 Presidential Primary in South Carolina , how can he still campaign for Bush ? What is his true deal ? What does the BFEE have on him ?

3. At the 2004 Republican Convention, John McCain said we
were attacked on Sept. 11, 2001 because we're a "kinship of ideals."

I found that explanation insulting.

I can too.
However, McCain supports those neo-cons. That makes him just as bad.

9. Worse because he KNOWS better
He knows what asses Bush et all are and he continues to support them for no other reason than "they are his party". There are more important things than party loyalty. I would hope that if some Dem pulled that shit I'd call him on it.

7. I think he's made some kind of Faustian bargain with himself
He always struck me as one of the last Republicans with integrity, and yet, when the chips were down, he undeniably cast his lot in support of the neo-con party line.

I suspect that he did this with the idea of some greater-good in mind, but I predict that he'll live to regret it. I often wonder if Colin Powell is similar.

8. Would it have killed him to tell Bush to either pull the
Shitboat ads or he would not appear with him on the campaign trail? I guess it would, so in my book he's pond scum.

There's nothing more digusting than a man who once had honor.

11. I like John McCain.
He seems to be a reasonable man. I don't agree with him on the issues, so I would never vote for him. that doesn't mean I hate him.

19. I don't vote for who I "like"
I vote with the Issues, and John McCain cleary disagrees with me on about 80 percent of the issues. With that said I am not about to bad mouth a man who spent many years in a prison camp who had the oppurtunity to leave but decided to stay because he thought that would be unfair because no one else was.

24. He also turned his back on his fellow veteran
He saw up close how Bush is when Bush attacked him during the 2000 primaries. Yet he remains loyal to him despite Bush's attacks on Kerry.

15. Don't buy the media lie that "liberals love McCain." We don't.
He talks a good game but when the ball's in his court he always throws the match for the Neo-Cons (NOT the true republicans or the greater good.).....uh, if I may mex my mitaphors.

The MSM would loooove to have you believe that if all those uppity Dems would give up on their lefty ideals and follow "centrists" like McCain and Zell that everything would be hunky-dory in lala land. It's bullshit. In these instances, the media (wholly owned and operated by the same corporations who keep the GOP in power) is clearly subscribing to the theory that if you fill the whole room up with bullshit, it's not bullshit anymore. They'd loooove to have the American people think that liberalism is dead; it's not - we represent a majority.

So, to sum up: FUCK MCCAIN.

17. imho
i dont doubt that he was once a warrior. but to be dishonored by * and then kiss *'s ring?

McCain Vs Chimpy was the litmus test for all that has followed imho. The lies, and the complete and utter disdain for ethics that McCain was up against. McCain should have put an end to all that very fast, and finished * off back in the 2k. That was the beginning of this nightmare.

and now McCain hugs chimpy every chance he gets. How has it come to this?

18. Sometimes good, sometimes bad
I dont agree with him 100%, and I don't disagree 100%...proof that there are greys even within the GOP.

Although for the life of me I have no idea why he's pimping for Bush, a man who almost destroyed his career.

28. He's not afraid to publically disagree with Bush
unlike the majority of GOP who are spineless cowards (either that or just pure evil)... in that i respect him. But when it comes to really backing up rhetoric.. alas. gotta bring the hammer down. Still, he's GOP's best hope to get out of the neocon shithole they're in! Him, maybe Hagel, Lugar, Chaffee, and of ALL the repubs i can't think of anybody else. Michael Bloomberg?
