My House is at War! BoSox vs. Kerry/Edwards...and "DIVORCE" might

be the only solution. I'm yelling at hubby hearing the groan..shouts from the "other room" as to how BoSox are doing now. Hubby tells me...I don't understand...if BoSox win this year then Kerry will win...and he's fighting to the death against the Yankees from his "couch position."

I say: "Don't you understand...if they give "Manny" enough money he will throw the game...they will all throw the game because these "sports people" are on the "dole" from the corporatists like the rest of American Hierarchy.

Hubby says: "No...baseball isn't involved with this... it's still okay and not taking money ...are you a "Socialist?"

I say...OFGS...Don't you GET IT? You've been waiting for your BoSox to win the WS..for so many years....I'm sick of listening to it...they "throw the games" they are all like Corporate CEO"s who don't know when to stop...Professional Sports is all the "Money Game" with "organized crime and whatever" paying the teams to do what they do.

Hubby still believes that BASEBALL is the only PURE sport left that hasn't been "TAINTED"

I don't know...but I'm having BIG TROUBLE trying to "get in gear" for Kerry/Bush Debate tonight and live with "prickley Hubby" whose only belief left is that .........BO SOX will WIN and all will be "right with the world." :shrug:

I've told him he needs to pick a "winning team." Not, stay with these losers........year after year..after ...year ..after ...year ...after year..

Pick another Team..how can one go on hoping like this before "REALITY" sets in? :shrug:

That is completely out of the question. Your Hubby is apparantly a Redsox fan through and through and that isn't a bad thing. Hang in there, the debates don't start until 8:00 Central time, so maybe the game will be over by that time. And tell your man that baseball is great and that a True Blue (albeit upset) Cub fan is also a DUer. <Yes it's true, we all stick together>. My wife can tell you that.

7. Your best bet is to cheer for the Bosox too

You will suffer endlessly unless they finally win the Goddamned series. winning will take the angnst off of his edginess. take this from a Packer fan who sufferred thru the 70's and 80's

Then again if they become world champs, he may expect it every year!

playoff..so just like Kerry/Bush..it never ends....there's not enough booze to deal with this. I think YOGA?...last time I tried that, though it was "too quiet" for me. :-(

Maybe THIS will be THE YEAR...You guys do NOT want to KNOW how long I've been dealing with this.. and I do wish a drug company would come up with BoSox "Tranquilizers."

How many times do we see them "on the edge..poised for the win and some team player or the "manager" like that MacNamarra person who didn't Roger in back in the 1986 game...the ONLY FU**ing Baseball game I ever watched....and I was so freaked screaming out...that Hubby knew...I couldn't be a "companion" with him watching these games. After Buckner and MacNamarr (sp?) threw it...I was disgusted with Baseball and BoSox and all of it forever.

But I hope in my heart that BoSox win...just so I don't have to end up with one of those "Lawyers" that Chimp & Co. hate....but I'm still sick of it...:-(
