Women of DU: Did you like the movie "Swingers"? I love this movie,
my wife HATED it, thought it was totally obnoxious. Is it truly just a guy thing? I thought it had a lot to say about the way single people play games with dating, which both men and women do, although I'll grant it's a guy's take on the whole thing. What's your opinion?

1. Hated it.
pretty much for the same reason your wife did. Maybe it was my mood the night that I watched it, but one of the characters was so WHINY and obnoxious that I couldn't even listen to it after a while. He just started to grate on my nerves with all his bitching.

I loved it, but I think it's one of those movies you have to be in the right mood for.
