My husband starts cackling tonight from his computer, and when I ask him what is so funny he tells me that there is a story on yahoo (I think it was yahoo...) That the french are going to celebrate in a unique way if Kerry wins the election (which, He has to....) They are going to "Liberally Douse their French Fries in Heinz Ketchup"!!! You've got to love that!!!
On Edit: I joined the ranks here at DU on the 2nd of October.

especially if no one else has welcomed you, though I cannot imagine this happening on DU. Thanks for the amusing story! Hell, if the French can lower themselves to dousing French Fries in Ketchup, then I certainly can. Just count your blessings that they're no longer calling them "Freedom Fries." That sent me right over the edge.:eyes:

Welcome, by the way. You wouldn't know it from my post count, but I've been a lurker here since '02 and finally registered this August (didn't bother before, 'cause as you can see, I don't talk much). As I'm sure you've seen by now, it's a pretty awesome place.
