But they need to do something early in the game to make us hate them again.

It won't take much.

2. Remember the old days at 3 Rivers?
Players from other teams HATED to come to the Stadium to play because the fans were always SO Rowdy. Being Loud and Obnoxious is in our Genetic Code, I bleed Black and Gold. I cried the day the Imploded 3 Rivers, and I am not sure if the times have changed with the new stadium... Are we as rowdy and unruly at Heinz Field? The Best thing in the world was the playoffs two years back.... I am STEELERS all the way, a Co Worker was a Browns fan.... I remember thinking we were going to lose and then we SCORED!!! I stood in the middle of the Hall, during my Med Pass looked her dead in the eye and started to Sing.... "the Wheels on the Bus go round and Round, Round and Round, Round and Round" the Assistant Director of Nursing happened to be on line Checking in with the remote cam setup they had... I got a call... "I am keeping the video capture of the live feed I just got... By the Way... The STEELERS JUST WON!!!" that, of course started the Taunting and dancing all over again.... LOL
GO STILLERS!!!!!!!

5. Both towns have lackluster economic futures
The county and Cleveland governments put all their efforts into new stadiums and places to go drinking. The 1990s were great, but once the bad economy hit, Cleveland looks a lot like it did in the 1980s. Electronics companies keep slipping away.

One advantage Cleveland has over Western Pennsylvania is a more diversified economy. I grew up near Youngstown and worked in Sharon. My old home is looking more and more like an abandoned coal mining town. Sharon actually looks worse.

Hopefully, Rendell will put some sense back in to your state and grow the economy. The only hope we have politically is that the Ohio gop explodes with all the infighting. Voters may select democrats next time in 2006.
