I have a ghost in my house.

My TV just started changing channels on it's own. Maybe my remote is faulty, or i have a ghost! :)

6. My coffee grinder turns itself on. Static electricity is GREAT fun!

While my TV isn't on enough TO change channels on its own, it sounds like an electromagnetic issue. It's also possible that someone in your area has a device that's on the same frequency as your remote... I recall something about PDAs with infrared receivers getting screwed up by TV remotes a couple of years ago....

Static electricity sounds like a possibility, too. Unplug it and let it sit for a while. Turn it back on and see what happens.

Get some copies of books by James Randi - "Flim-Flam," "Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural," "The Faith-Healers," etc. Read them first then scatter them around. You won't have ghosts anymore. :)
