10. This is more important than many would think.

It's an integral part of the spin this weekend, due to the timing of this debate. I remember segments of SNL being played on the Sunday morning heads shows in 2000, with the talking heads then referencing these skits in their conversations repeatedly. Gore being supposedly stiff & referring to the "lock box," Bush mispronouncing words & appearing to have memorized the names of foreign officeholders just for the debate.. these ideas got implanted into peoples' minds.

If Bush came-off as hyper and stupid in these skits, while Kerry just seemed long-winded-but-sane, I'd have to say that Bush ends-up the loser in this equation.

Every bit helps.

No laughs at all other than the facial contortions of the actor playing Dick Cheney.

The content itself could have been written by the Bush folks it was so pro-Cheney and anti-Edwards.
