Is Bill O'Reilly 7' 0" tall?
I just watched The Daily Show from Thursday (OK so I'm behind). Dude was TOWERING over John Stewart. Or maybe Stewart is just short. Who knows. I'm 6'3" and always thought J.S. was my height.

2. Jon is about 5'7"
Just a hair taller than I am -- he's said so before.

Extrapolate from there.

4. No shit? 5'7"?
Dude carries himself much larger. Oh well...at least O'Reilly wasn't a TOTAL jackass. He's still a liar ("I'm undecided") but at least I could stomach him.

7. I've heard Stewart mention it, and seen him next to people
whose height I knew. Jon has turned 'short man syndrome' into a positive thing -- some guys do. I respect those who manage to turn what could be (frequently is) a drawback into a plus.

I developed a severe and instant distaste for O'Reilly when he took over whatever tabloid TV show it was -- Extra? Inside Edition? -- and made it into the National Enquirer of entertainment shows. Everything was a morality play or a scandal, once he got on board -- the show had originally been a slightly hipper 'Entertainment Tonight,' but I've never forgiven the rat bastard for ruining it.

8. You're mad cause he ruined "Inside Edition"?
Wasn't that kind of another "Access Hollywood" show to begin with? But if you hate O'Reilly, I can respect that. He's a putz.

9. Nah -- just wrote him off.
The show wasn't that bad before he was on it -- it was somewhere between Entertainment Tonight and MTV. If I'm not mistaken, one of the Gordy (as in Motown) family members, a woman, was the announcer and the show was kind of an MTV news for Generation Xers format. As soon as O'Reilly took it over, though, it went strictly 'Weekly World News'. I hardly watch any TV now -- VH-1 Classic and The Daily Show, and we tape the Adult Swim shows on Cartoon Network on Sunday nights to watch later -- but back when this happened, I was living alone and watching more television. I was disappointed, and thought even then that O'Reilly was a scumbag. He's proved me right since.

11. More adult-oriented cartoons.
http://www.adultswim.com/

Venture Brothers, Sealab 2021, Space Ghost ... it's pretty cool. If you have cable, and you have Cartoon Network, you probably get it. I think Cartoon Network is one of the few Turner channels that's still mostly controlled (or uncontrolled, in the case of CN) by Ted. They're not all gems, but there's pretty much something for everybody if you watch long enough!

5. I always pictured O'Reilly as a small man, physically and psychologically
It just doesn't seem like he should be so tall.
