Good Cold Open.

I'm digging Forte's Bush more and more. It's still not Ferrell good, but it's good. I thought the last part where Kerry says I should just say the 3 wrong things and sit down was pretty funny.

I'm a sucker for music in monologues so I liked the skat cats. Maya got to show off her great pipes. Will and Fred really work good togther.

Short & Curly!! Man, for the second straight week they really nailed the commercial parody. Very risque! Loving it.

1. VP sketch not that good

Liked the opening one though. I LOVED the X-Presidents one!

2. The VP debate

Was a big miss.

Still a good show so far.

The Prince Show absolutely rules. Fred's camera takes are brilliant, especially the one after Sharon Stone's "Who says you can't be 29 and sexy!" I also love that guitar he has and any sketch with Maya in that outfit is fine by me.

The Excedrin "racial tension strength" was average.

4. A terrific return of Ex-Presidents!

I've been waiting for them to get another one on the air. It totally reamed Bush.

That tribute to Rodney was very sweet.

I really thought WU was much improved this week. QL was hilarious in that Martha Stewart sketch but I still prefer Anna Gasteyer's Martha to Rachel Dratch's (although hers was plenty good.) The last joke of Update "You Will, I'm Kobe!" was top notch.

I suspected we would get a Starkeesha sketch tonight. It was solid. Amy Poehler pretty much stole the sketch IMO.

3. Best X - President's ever.

Yeah, they were a little hard on Kerry, but they felt bad about it afterwards. And the Archies musical number ripoff at the end with Reagan jamming with Hendrix, Kurt, and Moon..... just classic.
