1. Yep, got it on now. My 12 year old was watching. He just said "you call
this scary?" and walked outside.

I told him that he's not old enough and possibly doesn't have the thought processes necessary to understand what truly scary is. I wasn't being mean, so don't get on my case. I explained that truly scary is not slash and gore, it an attitude and an atmosphere that requires thought and anticipation.

That's when he left. Apparently this movie is not in the same league with Freddie, Jason, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

2. He'll understand much better when he's older.
Like so many of Hitchcock's movies, it's a classic that will be one of the best of its kind for a long time.
