Myth or truth, women like long hair on guys

I don't know, I grow my hair moderately long, not long like a girl but not very short either, I prefer it like this because well looks good and I look better like this way. Would use my picture as a sample but I believe I got a hair cut a week or so before that was taken.

My best male friend has long hair. He parts it in the middle and it is wavy like mine. It looks pretty good on him. Several rock musicians also have long hair which looks good.
My husband has the whirl pattern to his hair and tried growing it out once, but looks much better with short hair.
Men always look better with some hair. I do not like the bald look. I don't like really short hair either. I like hair long enough to really feel like hair.

I'm a guy so take this with a grain of salt, but I think that having an afro in these days when they are so rare is kinda cool. I mean, that guy on the Office Depot commercials is really hip, except for the fact that he doesn't have any pants.

So, afros are a definate maybe, but pants are definately required.
