Yankees have not won a WS under a Republican president since 1958
The last time the Yankees won a World Series under a Republican president was 1958.Since then, the Yankees have won 8 WS under a Democratic president

1961&62-JFK
1977-78-Carter
1996,98,99 and 00-William Jefferson Clinton

It's no coincedence, the Yankees lost in 2001 and 2003.They also have lost in 1960,1976 and 1981 under Republicans. They lost in 1963 and 1964 under Democrats

The Yankees were terrible in the late 1960's and early 1970's under Nixon

The Yankees had their longest drought under Reagan and Bush 41 in office. They made the playoffs 1 time from 1981-1992

So go the Democrats,so go the Yankees

3. I have been a Yankee fan for 25 years and I don't think they will win
because of this trend.Under a Democrat,Mariano Rivera does not blow game seven in Arizona and the Yankees don't blow a 2-1 series lead to the Marlins last year

5. However the Milwaukee Braves beat them in 1957 with...
the likes of Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Warren Spahn, Lou Burdette, Red Shoendienst, Joe Adcock, and, so many other great players of basically the same team which was defeated in 1958.

;-)
