Remember being outraged during the first Gulf War |
|
When captured IU.S soldiers were paraded around on Iraqi tv? And now they're beheading captives and where's the outrage? Have we become that desensitized or what?

1. I listened to a Bill Hicks show on the way into work this AM |
|
and he was ranting about GWI - there was more outrage about that war than the current mess for certain.
What he said on the show was certainly true - It can't be called a war for one simple reason - there must be TWO armies fighting for it to be a war.

3. Good point! And a clear example of how well BushCo... |

suppresses the bad news.
BTW, I also remember being outraged that any of my tax dollars were going to protect Kuwait; a country that didn't even allow women to drive!
I've also read that Saddam let the US know he was planning the attack and our government gave him the OK. I can find a link for this if you'd like to see it.
