My partner and I usually go in January. Very cold, but still beautiful and peaceful. Fall is beautiful there, but we are both in school. I hope you had a good trip. My mom has a place pretty much at the Inkwell, so if you know someone who is looking for a rental, let me know.

Only cold on one night and one morning. Mostly 60-70 degrees for a high. In fact, on two days, it was so warm that I was fishing barefoot and without a shirt on, out in the boat off of Cape Poge.
Unbelieveably clear air and water. Just freakin' perfect...

Caught lots of fish, drank many beers and martinis (each day ended with the four of us drinking Bombay Sapphire on the back deck of the house--located on the north facing beach at Pilots Landing, right beside Gay Head.
I think it added a year or two to my life...
