I just had oral surgery and they prescribed it to me. I didn't need it though.

Actually, I did have surgery a while ago and they did give me Vicodin. That's why, when I saw "I just spent 8 days on the Vineyard", I immediately thought of it.

Yeah, it's an acquired taste. I've always been the opposite, more of a downer person. I don't like that wired, teeth grinding, ear ringing thing that caffeine, coke and crank do. I prefer the long, slow nod and drool of good downers.........

They prescribed it for me a few years ago after a car accident, and I puked my guts up!

Important note: Don't eat ice cream containing peanuts when you consume a drug you're allergic to. It's quite painful. Although, to my credit, I didn't know it would cause that reaction beforehand.

having abdominal surgery. when i got home form the hospital i took it for the first 24 hours, and then by that third dose, i had to figure out a way to get up out of bed, and puke, without busting my stitches. i decided to stop taking the pills after that.

whatever caused you to need it for 9 days. I had some after dental work recently and I only had to take one or two a day for a couple of days.
