Dreams cited in finding of teen alive in ravine 8 days after car crash

From the Seattle PI
---snip---
Sha Nohr, a church member and mother of a friend of Hatch, said she had several vivid dreams of a wooded area with the message, "Keep going, keep going," after she went to bed Saturday night.
She said she awoke Sunday morning with an urgent need to look for Hatch, had her daughter join her and drove to the area where the crash occurred, stopping at one point, then leaving because "it just didn't feel right" and going to another spot.
Along the way, Nohr said, she prayed: "I just thought, 'Let her speak out to us,'"
At the second stop something drew her to clamber over a concrete barrier and more than 100 feet down a steep, densely vegetated embankment where she barely managed to discern the wrecked car in some trees.

1. Amazing story!
From looking at the pictures, I'd say she is a very lucky young woman!

8. It certainly looks like a very remote, inaccessible area.
I usually don't give much thought to "psychic" phenomena, but it does make ya wonder.

4. It's amazing that she lived that long
I didn't know people could live that long without water.

5. They're saying the fact she WAS dehydrated saved her life
since she had a blood clot on her brain.

7. Inactivity can ward off dehydration
Thy typical dehydration number floating around is three days, but that really assumes normal activity. If a person is in a cool shaded area, breathes shallowly, and doesn't move (like they would if unconcious), it's actually possible for an average person to live for nearly two weeks without water.

10. It's been chilly here too
I thought the same thing ... I bet the temperature made a difference. Plus, obviously, she was inactive, as she was pinned in the car. Amazing story.
