Just because you have the biggest payroll doesn't mean you should win every fscking year. I want to see the Sox pound these arrogant assclowns.

9. I'm not a fan of either, but here's my best guess: |
|
The Sox will win early and look like they've clinched it OR they will lose early and come back hard and then when it looks like they've won....
Then someone on the Cubs (oops I meant Red Sox...sorry) will make a bonehead play, an error or something like that, or some freaky accident will happen (ala Steve Bartman), and one or both of these two things will cause Boston to lose. Thus the "curse" myth will be carried on.

Red Sox-Cubs though what a series that would made, but we have a shot at Red Sox-Cards they've played each other in the series before and both series got to 7 games.

17. Neither are great, but hope the Sox beat the Yanks |
|
Only bad thing is no matter who wins, the arrogant over-paid team wins.
When Selig decides to finally retire, there's a slight chance that baseball will be the great game it once was because some smart person in the ranks will realize that a salary cap makes the game more competitive. More competetive games means more fans and more of a market.
For now we just have to wonder:
1. How many batters Pedro Martinez will try to bean 2. The sole New York batter that WON'T hit a homerun during the series 3. How many scowls Joe Torre shows on his face when his team is losing 4. Which stupid homeplate gesture that Manny 'Sellout' Martinez makes when he hits a homerun. Will he wave his arms up and down, or will he just stand there for 10 seconds watching the hit?
But go Sox. Not for your team. Not for your fans. But for your city which has been waiting for a World Series win longer than my Cleveland has been.

But I wouldn't be suprised if there's a game seven; both teams are such a mirror of each other that it really will be decided on probably only one or two major plays. No blow outs, either.
