So is the Sundance Channel the new channel for us Liberals |
|
Think about it:
Progressive, intelligent independant movies Documentaries galore including all of Robert Greenwald's recent ones (Unprecented, Uncovered and soon Outfoxed) Al Franken Show
And now the Vote for Change concert.
Can they please give us nightly news and I'll be a happy camper!

4. I don't think I get it, then. |
|
Crap. I could call the local cable to ask for it. In my area, liberal programming of any type has a snowball's chance in hell.

and I get it. Think of it that way. If they'll play it in Oklahoma, they'll play it ANYWHERE!

6. Well, even though IFC came through for Mike Moore, |
|
Sundance has Documentary Mondays and Al Franken every night.
Then there's Democracy Now! on Free Speach or Link

7. I was thinking the same thing last week |
|
Sundance seems to be going that way. I was never a big fan of Sundance. I always liked IFC more, but Sundance has become a favorite here.

13. You should check out TRIO |
|
Though both channel's are great, I much prefer TRIO's content to Sundance's. TRIO also has the added bonus of showing all the old David Letterman shows from the eighties, along with their "Brilliant but Cancelled" and "The Outzone" series of programs.
Last week they aired an amazing documentary about the history of skjacking and terrorism. Tonight I watched a documentary about culture jamming that featured the Billboard Liberation Front. They regularly show programs that are far more challenging than anything I've found elsewhere. It's my default station.
