Need help w/ a President Quiz |
|
1) Name a president who served in two major wars, but insisted that the world was flat?
2) Before he was president, he was a football coach and a model?
I have some 'good guesses' for these two questions, but I'm not 100% sure I'm correct. Anyone know the answers to these?

2. Thanks! I knew about the coach, but could only confirm |
|
he was a fitness instructor, not a model. :hi:
(For the 1st question, I've got 3 guesses, but one is more likely than the other two).

3. The Roosevelts come up with a Google search. |

Don't know if I can believe either could believe in a flat earth or if the Flat Earth group has just claimed them. Here's the link to Gerald Ford: http://www.geocities.com/presfacts/ford.html

6. Yeah, I kept coming up with the Roosevelts and Washington too |
|
but, I thought the same thing you did, that it wasn't credible enough. I think Andrew Jackson is the correct answer now.
Thank you for confirming the 'Gerald Ford' question and your help in searching. :-)
I think I'll post the whole quiz here in the Lounge on Wednesday or Thursday (after I see all the correct answers with sourcing) - might be fun for some DUers!
Thanks again.

I have to admit that Andrew Jackson was not one of my three guesses, but on further looking, that seems to be the correct answer! :hi:

The U.S. Constitution stipulates that, to be eligible for the Presidency, a candidate must be a natural-born citizen, must have lived in the United States for a minimum of 14 years and must be at least 35 years old. There are no other legal qualifications or restrictions for the post, so there is nothing in the law to prevent a lunatic, a bankrupt or a convicted criminal from becoming President.
