Mmmmmm!! Plucked from the waters and beheaded at Bayou La Batre. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!! They are destined for jambalaya and risotto.

2. There's a hell of a lot less TOO miss...

I'm back from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach helping my granddad and we drove on Beach Road near the coast. There are 100 yard chunks eroded out of the beachline and tons of property damage everywhere. Luckily, my granddad's houses weren't damaged when we cleaned up three weeks ago, but he was very fortunate.

3. I made gumbo this past weekend with gulf shrimp,

and honey ham, and chicken. It was sooooo goood.. reminded me of home.. (mom's recipe!)
