Does anyone know of a free people find service |
|
I'm trying to locate someone I went to school with, the places I've went to comebgack with info that sounds right, but, they want me to give them money. I don't want to give them money, being a cheap bastard and knowing there has to be free info out there.

people.yahoo.com is as free as it gets. But its not as good as www.ussearch.com which has an extensive database but will cost you upward of $9.00

you can accomplish for free.
Try googling the person's name. Sometimes you'll find your person immediately. If this was a woman who may have married and changed her name, does she have any siblings you can contact. That's worked for me.
Also, if you have any idea where the person lives, try www.theultimates.com which is a bunch of phone number/address lookups in one place.
It helps if your person has a relatively unique name, but if you're looking for a David Hughes or a Jim Smith or a Don Johnson, forget about it and hire a private detective.
Good luck. I've had pretty good luck finding people on the internet myself, but usually because I'm looking for people with fairly unique names.

He used to be my best friend in high school, long time ago, his parents cracked down hard and made him hit the books to get into college, and our lives just diverged. The last I knew he was working for the usps and living in OPKS, just wondering where life had taken him.
