Towels used in Brazil jailbreak
Just like in the movies....

BBC News

Prisoners have staged a mass break-out from a jail in Rio de Janeiro, using sheets and towels to make their escape.

The 48 inmates made a hole in the ceiling of the cell block, then climbed to the ground using a rope made from their clothing, bed linen and towels.

They used another rope to scale the prison wall.

Brazil's overstretched jails are often the scenes of riots, fires and break-outs. Last week 69 people tunnelled out of a police detention centre in Rio. The latest jailbreak took place on Sunday at about 0430 local time at Benfica prison in the northern part of Rio.
