So who has AMERICA: THE BOOK?
I picked up a copy last night. I haven't decided how I'm going to read it though. Should I assign myself chapters to read like in high school? Should I just read it cover to cover? Should I rip out the page with the naked Supreme Court Justices so I won't go blind? Should I write my name in the front cover? Should I buy a bunch more copies and sneak into a middle school and switch all the real history textbooks with this book?

So I ask those of you who have this book already: what's the best way to tackle it? Does Jon Stewart come to your house and grade you on the quizzes? Will the final be open-notes?

2. Cover to cover
It starts with the history of Democracy so you don't want to skip ahead or the ending won't make sense.

3. I have it.
My first impression is that it's a very beautifully put-together book. Good, sturdy spine. And it looks like a textbook. It really does.. complete with end-of-chapter questions and exercises.

As for the actual text.. absolutely hysterical. When I read it, I can hear Jon Stewart reading the words to me.
