1. How is a Katana blade going to block a strike from a
light sabre ?

3. If your skills are great enough, shouldn't you never need to block?

7. I'll concede to you on that point

2. If a lightsabre gives you reasonable protection from a blaster...
...how are two pretty steel blades gonna stand a chance?

4. I have wielded a 16th Century Edo Blade...
Albeit not to cut a human(thank you jeebus!). No way in hell would I want to face such a thing. Horrifyingly efficient, amazingly sharp. In the hands of a half-assed master, you would not have a prayer.

12. I'll take the daisho, thank you very much
while you basement dwelling SW fans are waiting for your light sabre blade to erect itself over washed out pics of Carrie Fisher from a 1978 Starlog profile, I'll draw, step, and cut you in half.

Won't even need the wakizashi.

14. It all depends on what we're trying to do
If we're trying to fight off Darth Vader, the light saber, definitely. And you can find your keys with it.

But if we're holding a Seppuku ceremony and Bush is the guest of honor, then only the blades will do.
