4. LOL
I was replacing a vinyl copy lost in my divorce.

That album wasn't available on CD for years until it got re-released in europe. (Thanks, ebay!)

5. After the Snow -- Modern English
Another early-80s neglected post-punk gem (on 4AD no less). Sure it has the hit "I Melt With You", but the rest of the album is much more moody atmospherics you associate w/ 4AD.

Other recent purchases include Smile (Brian Wilson), Fire Dances (Killing Joke), and Bari (Ojos de Brujo).

17. The Killers-Hot Fuss and it rocks.
Reminds me of Depeche Mode....and other 80s groups I'm too lazy to remember right now. But it's pretty good.

Also brought Keane's cd, which is very nice.

I'm looking to pick up Jet or Black Crowes (any one) in the week or so.

22. The re-release of London Calling with the Vanilla Tapes
other than the slight giggle I got from Mick Jones singing "Lonesome Me," I was very disappointed. I knew I should have gone with Matt Dillon reciting "On the Road."
