What cartoon character voice could make you hysterical saying anything? |
|
I was just thinking about this after watching "Father of the Pride". I'd have to say it's Bender, hands down. John Di Maggio could read the phone book in that voice, and I would pass out from lack of oxygen from laughing so hard.

A never-ending source of amusement for me: John also does the voice of Wakka in Final Fantasy X/X-2. Wakka's the slightly dumb but good-hearted captain of a hick island sports team, and in the first game he was an extremely religious fundie Yevonite (in the game Yevon was basically the equivalent of the Catholic Church only with way more guilt. Seriously.). Now for the Wakka voice John does a Hawaiian pidgin kind of accent, complete with "ya?"s and "bruddas" (he's from Besaid Island, ya?). But, every so often the Bender inflection slips in and it's fucking hysterical. Especially when he starts going on about people needing to atone for their sins and whatnot.
More meta humor: Bender's a robot. Machines are considered anathema according to Yevon's teachings, and are the reason for humanity's suffering. Take from that what you will.

Every time he says "wanna get high?" I giggle and can't stop for like 15 minutes. And I'm not even high.
Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force has a similar power over me. Especially when he tries to get all street. "You'll get shot in my hood."
Bwah!
