Wouldn't it be interesting to see a team from Massachusetts and a team from Texas in the World Series this year? Hmmmm.

I just don't know if I'd be able to do it - root for the Red Sux. It just goes against everything I stand for. I grew up in the BRONX for chrissakes! I can't root for Boston! I just can't!

3. I'm a Yankee fan, but I had this fantasy at the beginning of the season |
|
I was pissed when the Yanks didn't try to keep Pettitte and Wells, so I envisioned them meeting the Astros in the Series . . . I pictured Houston winning 4 games to 3, with Clemens winning two and Pettitte winning two . . . they'd share the MVP . . .
now that Pettitte is sidelined, a great story line would be Clemens starting and winning three games for the Astros and taking the MVP . . . and watching Steinbrenner jump off the Brooklyn Bridge . . . :)
barring that rather improbably scenario . . . GO YANKS! . . .
