3. Man, I wish 'Scent Of A Woman' wasn't such a stinker.
I've been listening to these guys since about 1978, but we saw them preview the songs off that album live just before it was released, and they really stank up the place.

Far as I'm concerned, they should have retired after 'Cheap Trick 1997' -- it would have been a nice, solid farewell.

6. I hate to agree with you, but i do.
Their 1st album is still my favorite, and 97 Cheap Trick was their last good album.

7. Of course, the fact that a long dry spell
resulted in CT97 leads me to believe they may yet rally and put out a few more good tunes. They've pinched out a few loaves over the years -- I was ready for an RIP after 'The Doctor' so who knows what could happen?

Whatever happened to the rest of the reissues? They stopped after the first three albums.
