I LOATHE him. I have what I admit is probably a petty reason why, too. He cannot pronounce my favorite player's name - Ivan Rodriguez. The man has been an All-Star for over a decade and somehow McCarver just can't seem to pronouce Ivan right. The one time I heard him say it right...he immediately corrected himself back to the wrong way of saying it. ARGH! It's not Ivan like in Ivan the Terrible you dumb fucker...Ee-vahn - with the stress on the 2nd syllable. GRRRRRR
