2. Kerry said that Bush would've qualified as a small business....
...because he owned a share in a timber company or something like that. And Bush replied, "I own a timber company? That's news to me. (...doesn't know what to say...) Need some wood?"

6. Unfortunately for Bush, Kerry was 100% correct.
Why can't Bush and Cheney resist the urge to tell such easily-debunkable lies? You can obfuscate, spin, and skew statistics and opinions all day long.

But questions like this are binary: either Bush did own shares in a lumber company, or he didn't.

Oops. He did.

Either Cheney had met John Edwards previously, or he hadn't.

Oops. He had.

3. the contect was in how the Bushies count 'small businesses'
under their counting, both Bush and Cheney are small businessmen, since they own pieces of smaller partnerships. Bush's was in a gas and oil holding company that also did timber development.

5. Interesting that Dumbyass "didn't know"
his business was involved in lumber.
