having been to the statium a number of times in my life, trust me FOX doenst have to sweeten the cheers. the crowd is that damn loud.

before every game the fans in the RF bleachers call out the names of the yankees in the field until they are acknowledged, and you can always audiblly hear that on TV, and that is only a bout 3-4,000 fans imagine a crowd of 56000+

roll call from the Bleacher Creatures..that's a good point!

It just seemed particularly loud on the tv transmission..I thought they sometimes dampen the crowd sound since it would drown out the commentators.

53. You're right, but when it comes at you at 98mph and he uses the same ....

throwing motion, it all looks like the same pitch. That's also one of the reasons he's so effective. The pitches all look the same coming out of his hand, and the velocity is up there, too.
