Bush makes me drink
Selection 2000 made me drink a lot...I just couldn't f'ing believe such a travesty was taking place. I've spent way too much time since obsessing about our Resident UnPresident.

Here I am drinking again. The next 2.5 are going to be hell. How will I get through Election Day? A lot of wine...

I'm torn between Kerry winning in a landslide as all America realizes what an empty suit we have as our "leader" and the lowest-common-denominator theory of four more years.

Pass the wine please...

1. I was just thinking that ...

This is actually the first debate I've watched without having a beer or five. And after watching, or more to the point listening to that idiot squatter in the White House, I find I NEED one.

Shrub is bad for my health.

On a related note, I asked a friend of mine who lives in DC if he had any serious thoughts about what he'd do if Shrub steals this thing. (His parents have actually purchased a plot of land in Canada and are thinking of parking the mobile home they live in there.) "Start drinking heavily" was his reply.

Now, coming from him, this meant more than it says. He already drinks heavily. If he's only going to "start" ...

2. Yeah, I hear you.
I've finally just given in to the rationalization that it beats hell out of a nervous breakdown!

3. I've spent a lot of time during this administration high
if I can get the good stuff that is. Unfortunately I couldn't today.I certainly can't watch * speak sober for any considerable length of time. It would be healthier to be ignorant but since I'm compelled to be informed I'm compelled to deal with the depression and rage and fear knowing what I know causes. Tonight it's booze. Mickey's Malt liquor in fact. What are you drinking?

5. Bush makes me drink
The only way I can watch the debates (usually I have to change the channel when Mr. Bush is on) is to consume Scotch in a steady stream.
