I need a hug! (Just a rant, ignore me!)
I've just posted on GD2004 and basically said what I thought about the debate tonight. God, people can be really rude there if you don't agree with them. I have been busting my ass for Kerry...the grunt stuff...everyday... and I don't take kindly to some of the armchair types giving me shit. I had a painting class tonight and the people who run the place are real rednecks. They came into the class tonight at 9 and said, "Don't your understand, you have to leave...this is a very important night for this country...we have to watch this debate...you have to leave now!" These folks have done nothing in this election except to listen to Rush. My hope is that they continue to spout their crap and not act to make it happen.

5. Bless your heart.

Saying the words "President Kerry" will be the sweetest sound that passes your lips on Nov. 3.

Peace.

6. OMG!
What will the Freepers say???

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass what the Freepers say. Carry on. Exercise your free speech while you still have it (sort of).

8. Damn...I should know better!
I should not post there and I even think I disagreed with my son on this one, but I guess what I am really saying is the we have to get off the internet; get into our communities and get out this vote...we really have to do this!!! Getting out the vote is the most important thing we can do now...to me, it is the life or death of this country...so we should all stop talking on the net and get out on the ground. I CAN'T TELL YOU ALL HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS TO US NOW AND TO OUR COUNTRY. PLEASE STOP POSTING AND GET MOVING!!!!

9. I just hate it when I do that...
Go posting to a thread I know will cause me grief, but can't help myself. Then I am too stubborn to edit out and ignore the thread.

10. Yeah you really got piled on. I sawed it!
You know why people's emotions are so high. Doesn't justify it, but you did the right thing to come in here to blow off steam, decompress.

11.  I thinkm 'll go to bed.
I have had a long day...campaign conference calls...trying to negotiate with Town Modertors about what we can be allowed to do,at the polls...it's shit work...it'd hard work...but it pays off... and on election night, if Kerry pulls it off, I am going to feel like I had a real part in it and in democracy and in the end of the Bush Regime. You know, talk doesn't do it... it's action now!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO!!!

:hi::bounce::hi:

Don't let the hyper rah-rah crowd get ya down. What I got out of your post, is that this is no time to sit on our laurels, or asses. Take no comfort in anything, until the votes are counted and Kerry is the winner.

But then... I'm just brilliant that way! :dunce:

14. Yeah, you are totally right. We can' t sit on our laurels.
I am leery of those who are saying we won. It ain't over until (insert favorite cliche here).

15. oh my.. i just read that thread
Some nasty comments and people there. I don't know why some people can't just disagree instead of dishing out insults or making statements of how they are superior. And some were opposed to your encouragement to work extra hard and focus on getting out the vote. Whats wrong with that?

 good job so far and keep up the good work
