9. There is a great Firefox extension called Cookie Culler |
|
It allows you to mark certain cookies as protected (like the one that logs you on at DU) and leave others as disposable. The disposable ones can be deleted manually in a single step at any time, or can even be set to delete every time you open the browser. It's a great time-saver.

from the late 70's.
I was wondering why anyone would be using one. Or that any are still flying.

3. Assuming the Windoze XP Version ... |
|
If you mean the folder ...
Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
Replace <user name> with your specific user name associated with your Windows logon.
If you mean where you access cookies ... I use version .93 because the current 1.0PR version is a bit annoying to me at this point, and this may have changed. But in the version I'm using, you can access the cookies, browse them, and delete them entirely or individually by accessing Tools|Options|Privacy|Cookies

Do you have your folder setttings configured so that it shows hidden files?
Windozes tries all it can to hide cookies and temp files to people browsing their systems for some reason. That folder should have a bunch of stuff in it.
