AOL is like Baby-freepers-online. Most of these assholes in the "chats" and "discuss your thoughts" boards are so stupid. And they say stupid bullshit in PINK font! They give pink a bad name!

Do any of you have aol? Ever thought of switching? I have lately...

but I gave it up in about 1996 or '97 for a real ISP and haven't regretted it.

6. AOL was my first ISP

Way back when...I gave them up years ago. They charge way too much, have a bunch of silly features I don't need or want and are just too 'rah rah' for me. All those pop-ups and crap when I logged on and freaky colors and crap.... If I want a three ring circus I'll go to Barnum and Bailey.

7. I kicked AOL to the curb with the advent

of AOL 3.0...

And never regretted it for a moment. I carried two ISP's for a while and AOL swore they didn't block sites, but funny thing... I could go to a few select sites with the local ISP I had at the time but AOL wouldn't... several times this happened so it wasn't a one time glitch.

8. Actually, on their political message boards

the majority of the posters are pro-Kerry. And the ones who are pro-Bush are definitely baby freepers. In fact, I think they are paid to post anti-Kerry propaganda.

AOHell is for three type of people.

1. Kiddies
2. Pedophiles
3. Grannies who want to keep in touch with their families via E-Mail.

It is the biggest waste on the net. It will clutter up your PC with all kinds of junk that is useless to you but valuable to them. When you tell them you want to unsubscribe, they will offer you discounts or free service. This is because they want to keep you as a target for their advertisers. The spam and the popups make a lot of money for them no matter what they say about trying to reduce it.
