I've been awake since about 3 a.m.
Just couldn't sleep. I have a miserable case of poison oak and the sheets feel like sandpaper on it. I finally got up at three and went in the living room so I wouldn't wake hubby. Read for a while and had tea. Now I'm brain dead (more so than usual) and have to go out at ten to work registering voters. ~yawn~

This blows.

1. I feel your pain....
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 08:26 AM by mike_c
Woke at 1:40 AM, laid awake until 5:00, then got up. It's 6:20 now-- I have a day long meeting beginning at 8:30, and I feel like my head is stuffed with old rags.

on edit: no poison oak though, I'm spared that misery! Hope you sleep better tonight.

2. I'm sorry sky. Go to the drugstore. There is this wash they carry.
The name is Zanfel and my husband used it when he had poison oak and it worked. It will wash the oils out and you will feel much better. It's a bit expensive, but well, well worth it. And I have DUers to thank for the info! :hi: Feel better!

3. Thanks
I'll give it a try. It's so bad, my doc gave me Prednisone which I don't like taking (and might also be part of my sleeplessness).

This is the first time I've ever gotten it and it sucks!!!

4. I went to bed
A very unwise decision, seeing that I have a test in my radiographic pathology class in about 2 hours. Ouch. I should've just drank tons of caffeine and stayed up.
