Just to play with the heads of all those who have been noticing that I often don't answer the questions I pose :hi: I will break tradition and make an admission

When I first came here, I had no idea what GOTV stood for. It took me awhile to place it in context. I was wondering if we were supposed to go to our TVs and watch for something to happen.

Then, one day I had my :think: moment and realized it stands for "get out the vote."

So, what misconceptions did you have or what were you clueless about when you first came here?

I started on DU two years ago (for the longest time I just read and lurked mostly) and it took a good six months before I understood what BFEE meant, but I was too embarrassed to ask.
