I know that deep down that everyone should have a chance to run for office but this was just not the time for Nader to grandstand, plus he didn't get good signatures so I don't feel so bad about it...you gotta follow the rules.

Whew! I just had to let that out...

...off a state ballot we'd scream bloody murder. Manipulating the political process to deny voters choices is dead wrong. People who are unable to vote for any of the other candidates in good conscience are disenfranchised at worst and prevented from the full and free exercise of their right to vote at best. Oh sure, they still have the right to vote-- but only for the candidate that another party approves of. Is that the kind of democracy your friend wants?

4. they do it all the time
if you don't have valid signatures you get tossed off the ballot.

A democrat turned republican in our county had a republican tossed off the ballot for a state office because all his signatures were invalid.

Sorry but Nader didn't follow the rules...

Mickey Mouse and Fred Flintstone aren't valid signatures...

5. Nader cheated. He hired homeless people to get fake signatures
Anyone can still write-in any candidate they want.

Of course, in my state those write-in ballots get thrown out. That's a different issue.

Nader has a right to run, but he doesn't have the right to break rules to get himself on ballots.

8. And if Repig financed a Dem we'd scream too. Nader's legal battles
are being financed by Republicans. He used a firm that tore up Dem voter registrations in AZ to get on the ballot there...out of all the sigs, most were determined to be forged or faked. If anyone got on the ballot with forged or faked sigs, we'd all scream bloody murder...why, then, is it legit when Nader does it?

10. .
So, is the suit about this not being the right time for Nader to "grandstand", or about his not getting good signatures?

11. the suit is about him not having legal signatures
