Attention MAC person

Anyone out there who can answer a Mac question? I am trying to figure out how to post a picture on this and other forums. Send me a message if you can help.

1. Mac's have nothing to do with it

You need to post a picture to a web server on the internet that everybody can see. My ISP gives me a bit of webspace so I post there.
Apparently there's some free sites as well.

3. 2 ways.

I use a service called villagephotos.com when I want to publish a pic that is on my drive. There are many about.

If you want to repost a photo from a website here, hold your mouse on the pic and choose - show image in new window - and copy the url, which will end in .jpeg. Paste this addy into your post here.

10. A couple things

Photos and cartoons.

I 'communicate' with an obnoxious repuke on another board who always posts these negative Kerry pictures and cartoons. I have found several great anti-shrub things I want to post there but I can't figure out how.

I can help you with this. I can even give you some space on my server to host images from. Are you using OS 9 or OS X? If you let me know I can make a webpage to show you how to upload and access images.

PS Are you using Panther 10.3.5 and have you had problems? My Final Cut Pro HD wouldn't work, so I had to go back to 10.3.4.

13. I'm stuck with 9 right now.

But I know X as well. This was going to be specific to using ftp to access my server. But it would work for people wanting to learn to use the terminal for ftp in X or fetch in OS9.

As for you problems with FCP with 10.3.5:

Did you try Reparing Permissions with Disk Utility after the upgrade?

And also deleting the Preference file for FCP can help if the App is acting wonky.

14. Yeah, I've done those proceedures, but it didn't help.

Other FCP users at apple discussions were experiencing this problem too. I had to spend a day re-installing the system and some apps. THAT will keep me from upgrading until the bugs are fixed. x(

first you encript the picture in a few easy computer nerd things
Http<> *&^%$)( duke of URL then refresh your browser with a frothy mug of weasle urine,now cut and paste the url from your grandmother's last license plate,hot glue a donut to your monitor and it's done I have 50 pages of instructions tons of stuff on art sites and i CAN"T DO IT !!!!!!!! i think this is one thing some people can't do and some people can do in there sleep....

Dude, I know how to do all that stuff 'cause I'm a computer nerd. I'm talking about Panther 10.3.5 and a bug with FCP HD 4.5. If you're an apple/UNIX programmer and know Java 2.0, I'd appreciate some advice. Otherwise, I'm going to keep using the prior update (10.3.4).
