I go to bed really early like at 9 and wake up at 2-3 in the morning, other times i go to bed at this time, and both of those times my final awaking hours are like 6:30.

called "vampires anonymous"? It's 1:34 a.m. here, and I've been up since 11:30 p.m. Since then I've made juice in my champion juicer, cleaned the juicer, washed last nights dishes, played a computer game that i'm addicted to,put the trash can out in front of the house, tried on some new socks i bought on the web, and perused DU.

I fell asleep at about 8:00 p.m.last night. I will now meditate and go back to sleep, wake at about 5:00 am. Then take brief naps as needed. Fortunately, i live alone and work at home, and my schedule is mostly of my own choosing.I sleep when I'm sleepy...and that's that.

I've had this sort of life style for 20 years or more, and at some point simply stopped defining it as a "problem" after trying all sorts of annoying "solutions"...like pills, and forcing myself to stay up later and not take naps etc. Naps are the key....even 30 seconds will do wonders.
I wonder whether anyone is awake now to read this.

when you fall asleep in classes? I used to fall asleep at meetings. sounds like you aren't using coffee now.
Sometimes when i had a regular day job i'd go into my car at lunch time and sleep.
thing is that millions of dollars are spent on sleeping pills, so maybe the whole concept of trying to fit into a "normal" sleep pattern is not neccisarily(sp?)correct.
