You live in an area that is hurricane-proof.
Would you rather have snow, or Francis and Ivan?

6. Its really not a fair choice, but |
|
I believe more people die from cold exposure issues in the north than die from storm related issues in the southeast. the storms cause more damage in terms of money, but I think more US deaths are related to snow and cold than hurricanes. Given the choice I'd pick the snow, but I'm from northern NY and have dealt with snow all my life. That said, 350+ inches of snow a year is no picnic.

8. Aren't parts of Wisconsin north of Ontario? What do you expect? |
|
You want to be able to go ice fishing in December, you got to deal with a little snow in October occasionally. I am in short sleeves here in Maryland today, thank you. And we don't get many hurricanes either. Well, there WAS Isabelle last year. But whowe counting? Not me.
