Big fan of Elliot smith. I was crushed when I heard about his death.

Did anyone go and see his acoustic tour where it was just him and his guitar all singer/songwriter style.

Pretty depressing. He kept spacing out all his songs. He would be strumming along and all the sudden just stop and fumble trying to remember how the song went. It was charming the first few times and then it just got creepy. Over and over again. Someone from the audience had to help him toon his guitar for a led Zeppelin cover he did...

He must have been smacked out of his mind ...why are so many of the greatest musicians of all time into heroine...
