True story about my nephew. When he was younger, he was a diehard Chicago Bulls fan. He was only 10 and the only thing he would wear was stuff that had the Chicago Bulls on it.

Then Michael Jordan retires and the Bulls breakup and start to play sucky basketball. My nephew refuses to wear his Bulls stuff and only wants Lakers stuff.

I love my nephew and told him he doesn't want to be a bandwagon fan and I explain to him what a bandwagon fan is.

But he's a kid and this is what kids do.

But I know adults that do the same thing and :mad: pisses the hell out of me.

Pick a team, stick with the team - a tru fan cheers them on even when they lose!

I also can't stand the Atlanta Braves and any team that in the same league with the Eagles, Sixers or Flyers. I'm not a Phillies fan, I've been a Cincinnati Reds fan since I was 8 years old. Never once changed my allegiance even when they started to suck it up (like they are now)

I have been a Sun Devils and Cardinals fan since I was 6. I was also a Pacers fan at a really young age, liked them mostly because of Miller but even if he retirees, I can't see myself rooting for another team.

Baseball: The Yankmes. All lists begin and end with professional sports' equivalent of the Mussolini dictatorship. And in spite of all the advantages the Yankmes have (obscene payroll, umpire bias, MLB bias, media bias), they still manage to end far more seasons without a world championship than they ever win.

Football: Raiders and Cowboys. There are no others worth hating.

Basketball: Lakers and Bulls. It's a Phil Jackson thing.

Hockey: Who cares? This is not a major sport.

College Basketball: Duke. Sometimes North Carolina, but mostly Duke.

College Football: Miami. Sometimes the University of Spoiled Children (USC), but that's mostly for their band -- can't they learn another friggin' song?!

And finally, the Yankmes. Always the Yankmes.
