Ah, the Bombay Sapphire dry DUtini!

Named last weekend in honor of DU, where I learned how to make good martinis and appreciate gin.

2 oz. Bombay Sapphire gin


1 oz Wild Spirit liquer


1/2 oz dry vermouth


Sahken, not stirred. Garnish with cocktail onions.

Very good martini. Has a different edge to it than the straight gin martini, but still similar enough in character to be recognizeable as a cousin (unlike drinks like lemon drops, etc.)

It's Friday night everybody! Anyone else relaxing with a drink?

Come on I just spent 13 hours in a Nursing home.... had a PT kicking the living shit out of everyone and another one that sounded like he was breathing through mud, and looked like his heart was going to stop at any second.... Yet, despite the fact that he had that lovely Ashen tone that many people in Heart Failure have he was still outside smoking half of the day... in 52 degree weather!!! then he screams at me cause he can't breathe and his chest Hurts..... Ummmm Sir, here's your sign! ::Up-ends a bottle of Cabo::

made with good Russian vodka and served with those immense green olives!

Good stuff. Never heard of it before today. Anyone ever try it?
