Work sucks, a high-profile customer case bit me and now I'm on a "performance plan..."
Marriage sucks, all kinds of issues, nuff said...
Health sucks, despite all my gym work, I have a nasty sinus infection...
Car sucks, It's a Saturn, what more can I say?
And to boot, the coffee machine broke here at work. Yes, I am working on a Saturday...(which sucks too...)

you seem like me, when everything hits all at once. It will pass; in the meantime you have us in the DU to sympathize with you. Big Skittles cyberhug: (((((((((((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))))))))))))

3. They work great at first |

But over time when things go out, you can't just fix the individual part, you have to replace the entire section it comes from.
Get a Prius or Civic Hybrid instead - Hondas and Toyotas have good service and the only big cost is the battery replacement.

8. ummm ... mine was great, ran fine, |

and when I was in a bad accident, it was totaled but I walked away with nary a scratch.
They aren't the best, but they don't suck either. Wait, I did hear they had a very bad model year with big problems, but it was an aberration.

4. "Sigh....I need escape..." |

I had the same type of week at school. I am a teacher and I was ready to bitch slap the next 12 year old who talked without permission. The word must have got out. When I walked into my 2nd period class they were all sitting in place, hands folded on books, and said "Good morning, Mr. Price." in one voice. They were perfect that period which is a stretch for that class. The rest of the day went fine. A little kindness goes a long way to eas your pain. So, Good afternoon Taverner, I hope that your day goes better. Remember Bush's favorability is below 48%. A president has never won with a favorability rate that low.

Why don't you go high jack someone's thread? That always seems to brighten your day! And, was it Buckner - I'm sorry but I emptied my inbox.
P.S. Fight Club is NOT a chick flick.
Sincerely,

6. Oh but I only like jacking your threads, Ms. 101er... |

They're so fun to threadjack ya know :)
BTW...this quote might fit for both of us:
Desperation is the raw material of drastic change. Only those who can leave behind everything they have ever believed in can hope to escape. William S. Burroughs

7. Burroughs! I knew it was one of those "B" names! |

Here take this:
All the usual brain parasites are here, tonight. Above and Beyond always gets a big turnout. This is Peter. This is Aldo. This is Marcy....
and yes, your quote is quite fitting. BTW, whatever the "need," maybe you should tell her. IMHO It'll either make or break the deal if you know what I mean. I'm there on that one, too.

Some days I'm at the end of my rope and this is one of them. I've got my health at least which is good. It doesn't feel like I will ever get a job. Marriage is dead and buried, yet I still get to feel like a prisoner. My life has very little joy or pleasure. It is mostly work, duty, and monotonous tasks.
I have no words of wisdom left in me. I'm emotionally burnt, fried, and spent in my life.
