Didn't know Carlin was on the coast. I would have been there.

The flea market was a great one: 60-75 thousand. I've survived 15 and this was one of the biggest ever. I spent $3 on a "Cajun Pistol", a pistollete, stuffed with crawfish and cheese, and fried. It's my Flea Market tradition to have one for breakfast. Then I go to the church to make sandwiches for our flea market vendors (we're right down town and have about 100 sales stalls on church property). After delivering those, I walked home (4 blocks away-its hell driving in town on Flea Market day). Michael and I went back to the church parish hall at 5pm to shut things down at about 7pm when the last vendor left.

Our little Episcopal congregation of 75 earns $12,000 a year minimum on flea markets (one in May, the other in October) just because of our location. Flea market and Stewpot (community feeding program) are about the only volunteer things I do for my church.
