So this dumb republican knocks on my door....

So we're at the Adams County house today, winterizing... well, Mr. Pcat is winterizing, I'm being a precinct captain.

I'm on the phone today, calling my precinct. I've got the car out front with all of the Pro-Kerry stickers, the Liberal stickers... There are 3, count them *3*, Kerry signs in the windows....

And this dumb bunny, Debra Mitchell, who is running for Board of Commissioners, knocks on the door and starts telling me - before I've answered since I have a precinct member on the phone. She can see me through the storm door so she assumes I'm listening.

I shake my finger at her a couple of times (One minute, hang on...) but she keeps rattling on even though I have the phone visibly to my ear. Once I turn my back on her, get my constituent off the phone, and turn back, she blathers away about growing the tax base....

Adams County is dry, dry, dry.... we may sell booze, but we don't have enough water to make it. We've been on drought restrictions for YEARS out here... and she wants to add MORE houses?

Her solution? Pray for rain. Gah.

Look, twit-girl Repuke... I don't vote for dishonest-by-omission Repukes from California who don't understand ecological disaster. Sorry... a personal prejudice, I know.

And no, telling me that you support paying the difference for Guard and Reservists who are county employees and deployed overseas won't make me change my mind.
