I am having a problem.
I am staying in my dad's townhome, and I am driving my mother's car. My car is at the townhome. But I still haven't gotten it fixed. Now, I got notices on both my cars threatening to tow them. God damn it.

1. Why are they going to tow them?

2. One of them is unused.
I need to get it moved. The other one, I don't know. They said that it is illegally parked in a driveway. But it is the driveway of my dad's place. THe thing is, they have allowed construction workers to take up the parking spaces with their shit, so where else am I going to park it?

3. As long as they both have legal registrations
& up to date tags, I don't think there is anything they can do.

4. Some municipalities will tow even a legally registered car
if it's not moved frequently enough, and it's parked on the street. I know, because I live in one -- we have a car we don't drive very often, but it's regsitered and operable. It now resides in the carport.

I don't know what the deal is with the car that's parked in the driveway, unless it's blocking a public thoroughfare or the place is a rental and the car isn't registered with somebody who owns/manages the property. Coloradodem, you might consider asking what the problem is with the one on private property -- it may be something simple that you can remedy by moving the vehicle or registering it with the management or something.

5. Are you talking about legal registrations in the community or...
...in general? The tags are up to date. They say they reserve the rights to do that.
