1. It's not over
And I'm not just saying that.
The Sox are dangerous, very very dangerous.
Seriously, though...19-8...1918??

5. Well, at least you're classy.
That's a lot more than I can say for lots of other Yanks fans I know. Actually, sometimes I get bombarded with bandwagon riders, who aren't really fans but who claim to be so they can brag. I guess I shouldn't paint everyone else with the brush of their jack-assery.

That being said, this sucks a lot less than game 7 heartbreak. Furthermore, I read an article that pointed out how the Sox players aren't taking this very seriously. If that's the case, it serves them right to lose, but they shouldn't drag us down with them. Millions of people care about the team, and they're getting big bucks to make us happy. They should take it more seriously. The Yankees sure do.

Our pitching staff should be banned from baseball. Starting with Leskanic (I still have a grudge against that so-called baseball professional from back when he threw for the Rockies).

I don't really follow the media wrt to the Sox (for obvious reasons :P), but I thought they were pretty cool about giving an effort for the fans. If not that really sucks. I tease Sox fans and stuff but it's gotta be really hard to give your heart for a team year after year and be disappointed. I know it's not nearly as bad but I'm a Knicks fan so I can feel your pain somewhat, LOL.

I don't like bandwagon jumpers period. I grew up a Yankees fan in some lean years and remember getting made fun. So I don't appreciate the people who like to jump on a team when it's convenient. From my experience most of the Yankees bandwagon jumpers in NY are people who were mostly indifferent to baseball and only care now because it's a hot team--Mets fans, bless their hearts, stick with that bunch no matter what.

Loyalty counts, and too many people in sports (players and fans alike) seem to have forgotten that. I have to give props to the Sox fans.

9. You know
I actually feel sort of bad for my team the orioles doing good against the sox in the regular season because it would have been best if the Sox got the division instead, and the Yanks the Wild Card, I really wanted to see the Yankees lose more than ever this year. Ahh well, perhaps the Cards or Stros will shock the Yankees, and maybe just maybe the Orioles will manage to do what the Cards did, shock em all.

13. Yeah I know but you never really know for certain
well lets hope that the Cards or Astros get those bastards good because I am seeing a Yankees resurgance, the year of the Angels-Giants they didn't make the series so I thought hey maybe they can be bumped from the playoffs too, of course then they make the series just barely last year because last year was a 7 game ACLS and then they lose to the Marlins in 7 games, and now they're winning ALDS in 4 and getitng off to 3-0 starts in ACLS'. I don't know, it would just sigh be nice for a change to see the Yanks suffer as has my team, you know a crappy owner who blows chances, etc, I admit the Yanks have had their bad years in the past but damnit it would just be nice to see someone embarass them, I wanna see them in the cellar is basically what I am saying.

11. good teams are disciplined . . .
and that pretty much defines the Yankees . . . whereas the Sox are just the opposite . . . and therein lies the difference between to otherwise fairly equal teams . . .

I'm actually disappointed in how this series is going . . . I want the Yankees to win, but I was expecting a close, exciting ALCS . . . this is turning into a rout . . .

be sure to check out the Globe and the Herald in the morning . . . their sportwriters are not going to be kind to the Sox . . .
