My sleep cycle is all farkled up |

Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 05:09 AM by slackmaster
Greetings East Coast early risers and fellow West Coast insomniacs!
I got up at a normal time this, er, Saturday morning, was physically active all day, then had a crash around 4:30 in the afternoon. I rested for a couple of hours but didn't sleep. Then I went out for light dinner and a beer (planning on drinking more than one but one was all I could stand), and haven't been able to sleep since then. It's 3 AM. I took a Benadryl a while ago in hopes of getting in a cycle or three before tacking the chores of Sunday.
On edit - Just felt a wave of drowsiness. Better hit the sack and give it a chance to take over. Maybe my problem is I ate only a slice of meatless pizza for dinner. Not enough tryptophan?

2. It takes 30-40 minutes to kick in |

I have a small supply of Flexeril which is guaranteed to knock me out in 20 minutes, but that's reserved for bad back pain.
